A Fashion shoot…So this was something I have been wanting to do for a long time – so true to form, I arrange a styled shoot at the end of my busiest wedding season to date….hey, when I want to do something, I do it. But honestly, I couldn’t have made it half as cool as it ended up being thanks to Denise from Leigh Florist (ahhhmazing work), Erica from Rustic Charm Rentals (she’s a magician when it comes to decorating), Aleksandra Ambrozy from makeup by Aleksandra (incredible job on both hair & makeup)and Gabby from The Bridal Suite in Hamilton Square. So now I had all this awesome stuff – but I still needed some gorgeous volunteers to model for me. Danielle, Melissa & Dallis came through and NAILED it. Seriously – you would think they do this for a living : ) My friend Kate showed up to lend a hand – and has some awesome photos herself of the day (she’s been kind enough to wait for me to finally post these). All of this came about because Meredith from Fair Trade Knitters asked me to shoot their wedding line of shaws…I said “heck yes!” and the rest is history. Thank you all so much – this was my first fashion shoot – hopefully there will be lots more fun to come : )

So I have a crazy obsession for modern furniture. Well my friend Mike makes some of THE most amazing furniture (check it out at Iannone Design), and GUESS WHAT?!!! I got to photograph his new line of furniture that he’s debuting at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in NYC this month!!!! Iannone Design furniture has been featured in Metropolitan Home, the New York Times, InStyle Magazine (just to name a few). I can’t tell you how excited I was to do this shoot! Mike makes only GREEN furniture – which is extraordinarily cool – so I wanted to do the shoot out doors in nature. Yeah, it was rad. Don’t take my word for it – check it out!
